15. Don't Rely on Luck! P.93
Passing(To pass) exams is every student's dream. Failing them is their nightmare. So, to realize(/fulfill) their dreams, many students try anything(/anyway) (可加possible). They even go to fortunetellers, buy lucky charms and follow old customs.
In Korea, many students bury something personal in the university they want to enter. They believe(It’s their believe) that these things will act as magnets and \them into the university. Whether it works or not, nobody really knows. At least it does ease the students' minds about passing exams. Remember, though, you can't always rely on luck. There is no substitute for hard work.
Again, we have an article here, on page 93, we'd like to have Bruce read this lesson first, of course, together with the title.
This can never be too true, in fact, without hard work, you can't get anywhere. You will never be successful.

K: Well, what did he say?
P: He said I flunked because I did everything very well except that I forgot one thing. K: What's that? P: I didn't study!
You should study. If you don't, then you'll flunk. you'll be flunked.

Now, we still have a couple of minutes left. so, we'd like to have this opportunity to ask Bruce to tell us something about how to prepare for an examination on behalf of students.

classmates, then we could ask questions and answer questions to help each other. So, first, help your body by relaxing, getting enough sleep, don't be nervous. second, get your mind ready by reviewing. these two steps will help you when you study.
And also while doing so, you are lucky to run into some problems you don't understand. In that case, you have to go to class to ask your teacher to help you out. This is something that is very very important. In other words, make sure that you have no doubts about anything that you are learning.
