Unit 2 What a day!

【单元教材分析】

本单元课题为“What a day!”,教材内容主要是围绕描述天气和回顾周末活动而展开的话题,表现为日记形式。涉及的主要句型是 “It was sunny/ cloudy/ windy/ rainy. I/ We / He / She flew/ brought/ …”。本单元是在第一单元初步感知规则动词过去式的基础上,展开对不规则动词过去式的学习,是对第1单元所学一般过去时的肯定句式的巩固及延伸,同时又为后续学习奠定基础。此外,教师可根据学情有意识地补充四五年级新教材中有关天气(warm, cool, cold, hot) 及日期等相关内容,将所学知识融会贯通,进一步提高学生听、说、读、写综合语言运用能力。 【学习目标】 . 知识目标

①能读懂并理解所学英文日记。

②能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型It was sunny / cloudy / windy / rainy. I / We / He / She brought / … What happened? 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写单词sunny, become, windy, cloudy, sky, bring, drink, rainy, meet

③ 能听得懂、会说、会读show, interesting, weather, high, honey, ant, bee, cloud, sky, rain, lose, know, climb up, hold onto, fly away,September,parrot,weather,dumpling,wet, sad, have a picnic, watch a film ④了解字母组合ear在单词中的读音 ⑤会唱歌曲Rain, rain, go away 2. 能力目标 ①围绕“天气和周末活动”这一话题,学生能够流利地用一般过去时描述自己一天的活动;并能够询问和描述天气状况。 ②通过学习,学生们能用正确的格式书写英语日记,把所学的语言知识与生活实际相联系。 3. 情感目标

①进一步保持学生学习英语的愿望与兴趣,以及激发他们乐于参加各种英语实践活动的热情。

②能够用英语记录下自己的经历,并乐于与他人分享、交流。 【学习重点】

能正确听、说、读、写本单元的四会单词、词组、句型及其用法。 【学习难点】

1.能进一步掌握一般过去时陈述句。 2. 学写英文日记的格式

3. 在一般过去时中,能正确掌握不规则动词过去式的用法及读音。 【课时安排】

Step1: Free talk and lead-in

1.Know something new about the teacher. (favourite food/ animal, hobbies…) S:…(学生发散思维)
