students, “Who is he? What is his job?” The students may know he is Einstein and he is a scientist.

2.Show another picture and tell the students they are engineers and say, “I want to be an engineer. I’m going to study math hard.”

3.Show a picture of a postcard and tell the students “New Year is coming. In this class, we are talking about New Year’s plan. The New
Year’s plan is called New Year’s resolution.” Get
the students to talk about their New Year’s resolutions in groups.
4.Then show one more picture of the New Year’s resolution and get the students to ask and answer like:
