Recently, as the development of the Internet, there is a kind of language calling Web language. Some people even speak Chinese mixed with English letters. The other day our class had a discussion about if we should welcome the Web Language.

Forty percent of the students think it ridiculous. They argue that it does no good to help people communicate, nor is it useful for learning English. Besides, it’ll make Chinese more standard and pure, finally ruining our mother tongue. However, 69% of our class is fond of it. They think it is simple, convenience and helpful in expressing them. What’s more, it may make the language more interesting.

Personally, it’s not good habit to use the Web language. It may be popular, but you may also make yourself be misunderstood.

Sports and games are very useful for character training. In their lessons at the school, boys and girls may learn about such virtues like unselfishness, courage,

discipline and love of one’s country. So what is learned in books cannot have the same deep effect on child’s character as what is learned by experience. As most of the pupils’ time is spent in classes study lessons, the ordinary day school can’t give many practical training for their lives in the future. When l was in high school, I had an awful experience．At that time l was so brave and outgoing as the others．Because of that, a boy name Big Tom would do all kinds of bad things to me．I was scaring to see him．

So yesterday, a friend told me that Big Tom wanted to see me and invited me to dine out．I agreed．We met in a bar and I was so happy that nothing went well．By the end of that night, Big Tom apologized for what he has done to me．Now we have become close friends．

The other day I happen to read an eighty-word passage about details. I found it prettily good.

One who wants to achieve great success should pay attentions to details. Sometimes it is the details in that determine our success, for it has a great impact on what we’re doing. We should form the habit of being careful, so a careful person rarely overlooks details. What’s more, we should learn to keep balance of quantity and quality. When facing with lots of work, the faster we do them, the more mistakes we usually make. In that case we are possible to neglect the details. So we should remember that quality comes first, without that quantity is of no importance.

This morning my parents took my sister and me to the zoo. At the noon we had a picnic on the grass. I eat too much, so I couldn’t finish my sandwich. As I didn’t know what to do with it, I asked my sister for advices. She pointed at the notice, that said, “ No litter.” And she asked me throw the sandwich into the litter-basket. Just then I saw an elephant coming slow towards us. Suddenly an idea came into her mind. I could feed the elephant by my sandwich and I did so in the end. Seen this, my sister smiled and said, “What clever you are!”
