Potential employers will appreciate every bit of extra training and knowledge that they don't have to give you. For example, if you have courses in science along with your business degree, you could possibly win a job over someone who majored purely in business with no outside electives.
Finally, you can also select a challenging elective course. Part of getting an education is learning how to learn, and elective courses should help you achieve this goal. You need not to memorize all the information from each class, but you should get a better
