(1) Read the dialogue and answer the questions.
T: Does Zhang Peng like April? Ss: Yes.
T: There are many special days in April. What are they?
Ss: April Fool’s Day and Easter.(卡片张贴在黑板上,带读,齐读。)
T: When is April Fool’s Day?
Ss: It’s on April 1st.(引导学生回答。板书句子,教学序数词 1st,理
解句子。简单讲解一下愚人节的由来。) T: When is Easter?
Ss: It’s on April 5 th this year.(引导学生回答。板书句子,教学序数词 5th,理解句子。)
T: Easter is an important holiday in many countries. It’s on
April 5th this year. People will colour beautiful eggs and hide
them.(呈现有关复活节的图片,帮助学生理解。)Kids will find the eggs and put them into baskets. Many people go to church on Easter Sunday. People like to eat a meal together. It’s a
wonderful holiday.
(2) 教师领读板书句子,学生跟读。When is April Fool’s Day? It’s on April 1st. When is Easter?
