高一英语早读诵记任务
1 Getting Rid of Psychological Problems
We are at a young and beautiful age, but we still need to solve an increasing number of problems. The moment we students attend the senior school, we are faced with new changes.① It is important for us to adapt to the new school life.
It is reported that one in four students can’t adjust themselves when faced with problems. Thus it’s likely for them to experience some kinds of psychological problems, such as interpersonal sensitivity and depression.② If we fail to deal with these problems, one day they will lead to more serious problems.
Therefore, how to get rid of these psychological problems? First of all, find out the reasons why we have these psychological problems. Second, we should relax ourselves③ and try to communicate with others more often. Finally, we can seek help from our parents, relatives or teachers who are always supporting us. 注释:

2 If I were a Boy Again
If I were a boy again, I would practice perseverance more often, and never give up.? If we want light, we must conquer darkness.
If I were a boy again, I would develop a habit of attention; I would remember that a good skater never tries to skate in two directions at once.?
The habit of attention becomes part of our life, if we begin early enough.? I often hear grown up people say “ I could not fix my attention on the book, although I
wished to do so” , and the reason is that the habit was not formed in youth. If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation④ of the memory. I would strengthen that faculty⑤by every possible means⑥, and on every possible occasion⑦. It takes a little hard work at first to remember things accurately; It only needs early cultivation to become a power. 注释:

4 Unexpected Relaxation and Fun
I’m stuck in the airport due to the bad weather.① And in a nearby wine bar, a
young lady plays some piano music that I can describe as absolutely beautiful classical music. I go in and sit down at a table, and enjoy her wonderful music! Her music immediately brings a smile to my face!
Soon, at a break②, I thank her and she tells me after a long day travelling, and now facing the long delay, she just needs to relax. Wow! Her relaxation is a gift to others. As I sit quietly tasting my wine, lost in this young woman’s passion for music, two women approach my table and ask if they can join me.③ I invite them and we immediately begin sharing our love of music. Then we not only talk about our travels, life journeys and hobbies, but also discuss weather, careers, family, friends, jobs, experiences and our life perspectives.
