Last Tuesday，the Students’ Union in our school advised that Senior Three students Shall do something specially for their parents on their 18th birthdays. Several days ago, my classmates and I visited to the Cincinnati School for the Blind and Deaf. We had party with some of the student there and had a wonderful time. I met a girl at the party. Several American students visited our school. Upon our arrival, we gave a warm welcome to them, among them a boy named Tim was to stay with my family for the weekend. I recognized Tim compared him with photo he had sent to me. Tim greeted me and expressed that how excited he felt. When school was over, we took the subway home. In recently years many young people prefer to go shopping on the Internet. People have different opinion about online shopping. Some think online shopping was more convenient and the goods are cheap. However, other believe it is unsafe to buy goods by credit card. And it is possible to check the quality of the goods.
As far as I am concern, going shopping in a store is a better way. It is a fun to walk around stores and looking at various goods on sale. We can choose what we really need and even find a good bargain. However, we can chat with the shop assistant and acquire a lot of useful information.
