How do you spell it? 这是以特殊疑问词how引导的特殊疑问句，它的意思是“你怎么拼写它？”，对于这个特殊疑问句的回答不能用Yes或者No来回答，应该按照实际情况将需要拼写的单词的字母顺序依次拼出，如果一个字母连续出现，可以用double。 例如：－How do you spell “book”？你怎么拼写“book”？ －B-O-O-K. 如果不会拼写可以说：I am sorry. I don’t know. 对不起，我不知道。 how表示做某事的方式，它的意思是“怎么样、如何”。本句中的do是助动词，没有实际意义。 例如：－How do you go to school? 你是如何去上学的？ －I go to school by bike. 我是骑自行车上学的。 2. Is this your pencil? 陈述句This is your pencil.变成一般疑问句时，把be动词is提到句子的开头并且大写，把句子末尾的句号变成问号。这个句型用来询问“这是你的……吗”，是本单元的一个重点句型。它的肯定回答用Yes, it is.（是的，它是。）；否定回答用No, it isn’t. （不，它不是。） 例如：－Is this your bike? 这是你的自行车吗？
