有机物的英文名称
有机化合物英文名称要表示出碳链的长短和所带的基团种类。 The two basic features:
a root indicating how many carbon atoms are in the longest continuous chain of carbon atoms ? a prefix and/or suffix to indicate the family to which the compound belongs.
? puts the three parts of the name (branch + root + family) together to form the compounds name, with the branch names prefixing the root, and the family name taking its usual form.

饱和 Saturated 烃：只含C, H的化合物

（一）数词
全部数词在命名中只作前缀使用，它与英语日用数词完全不同应单独记忆。 1、从1～4的词头，作为主链母体词头时，英汉对照为 英：metha etha propa buta 汉：甲 乙 丙 丁 作侧链基团数目词头则只准用：
英：mono di(bi) tri tetra cyclooctatetraene 汉：一 二 三 四
2、从5～10，不论主链碳数或侧链基团数的英文词头由
英：penta hexa hepta octa ennea(nona) deca 汉：戊 己 庚 辛 壬 葵 3、英文数目从10开始用“-deca”表示“+”的基数，从11到19又加前缀： hen- hendeca(undeca) 十一 do- dodeca 十二 tri- trideca 十三 tetra- + -deca = tetradeca 十四

4、eicosa是二十的词头，heneicosa 二十一，但从22～29则以“-cosa”表示“二十”基数
