Etiquette of Making Inquiries 1. 在日常生活中,我们经常需要向别人咨询或打听某些情况或消息。比如:迷路时问路,打听驾车或行走路线,了解火车或飞机的运行信息,询问天气或旅馆设施、价格等。 2. 当我们向别人咨询或打听消息时一般会用“您好,请问……”或者“对不起,我能否向您打听一下……”等句式。英语中也是一样。如果走到人面前直接提问往往会令人觉得很没有礼貌。因此,在提问时,尤其是向陌生人提问时,应使用一些基本的礼貌用语,然后再提出自己的问题。常用的英语询问句式有Excuse me, but could you please tell me …; I’m sorry to bother you, but do you happen to know …; I was wondering if I could ask you a question等。 ? ?
