【解析】【听力原文】M: Hey, Ann! What's so interesting?

W: What? Oh? Hi Tim! I am reading the article on the societies of the Ice Age. M: The Ice Age? There weren't any societies then-just a bunch of cave people.

W: That's what people used to think. But a new exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History shows that Ice Age people were surprisingly advanced. M: Oh, really? In what ways?

W: Well. Ice Age people were the inventors of language, art, and music as we know it. And they didn't live in caves; they built their own shelters.

M: What did they build them with? The cold weather would have killed off most of the trees, so they couldn't have used wood.

W: In some of the warmer climates they did build houses of wood. M: How did they stay warm?

W: Well, it says here that in the early Ice Age they often faced their homes towards the south to take advantage of the sun.

M: That's pretty smart. Can I read that magazine article after you're done? I'm really interested in it.

Although many people agree that junk food is unhealthy and has little nutrition, they are 【解析】【听力原文】still fond of it.

The name \Suppliers are fond of it, because it is cheap to make and easy to keep. Consumers are fond of it because it is easy to buy and tastes good.

Junk food has a lot of fat, salt or sugar, and many food additives. Scientists believe that eating a lot of junk food makes people overweight. People may also get heart disease, high blood pressure and tooth problems if they eat too much of it.

What is junk food, then? This is a difficult question, and different people may give different answers. Fast foods such as hamburgers, pizza and French fries, are often regarded as junk food. Other foods, such as roast potatoes and bread, are not junk food, although they have limited nutritional value. Also candy and soft drinks are junk food because they have a lot of sugar, but honey and grapes are not. Many people like to have cereal for breakfast, because they think it is healthy, but breakfast cereals may have lots of sugar, salt and fat. When children start eating junk food, they will tend to have less and less healthy foods like milk and fruit. This can weaken their bones.

However, some junk food, such as chips may be good for children, because it may give them necessary fats. However, since they are fats, children should not eat too much of them.

【分析】(1)考查细节理解题。根据原文Suppliers are fond of it, because it is cheap to make and easy to keep. 可知,故答案选B。
