教材分析:
本单元以My school calendar 为话题,分A B C 三部分。以AB部分let’s learn中表示月份的单词和中西方节日为线索,let’s talk,read and write 为桥梁,C部分的任务活动为中心,贯穿整个单元。A B 部分let’s learn 为词汇教学,内容为12个月份的单词和中西方的节日,A B部分let’s talk 和 read and write 为句型教学,内容为日常交际会话。在教学中,应围绕月份和节日这一主题设计一系列活动,让学生在轻松愉快的情景中表达、感受语言,理解语言,从而习得语言。 学情分析:
本单元学习的主要内容是12个月份的单词,以及中西方的一些节日,五年级的学生好奇心强,接受新事物的能力强,所以教师可以结合学生感兴趣的内容,比如西方的一些节日等,设计一些有趣的活动,让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中习得新知。

Learning aims(学习目标):
1. 能够听、说、读、写表示月份单词:January, February, March, April, May. June.
2. 初步了解各个月份中的一些节日的英语表达方式。 3. 让学生能说出自己最喜欢的月份(1---6月)。 Important &difficult points(重难点):

4)引导学生找出1---6月份中的节日及自己能用英文读出的名称,如:Children’s Day 等。
