Abstract :Voronoi diagram has a unique superiority in planning and site selection.
This paper uses Voronoi diagram to guide the location of new substations by considering
the principle of the substation location. The definition and characteristics of Voronoi
diagram and its dual structure Delaunay triangulation are introduced simply. The Lawson
algorithm for generating Delaunay triangulations is also described in detail. In the new
substation location section, this paper proposes substation location with even and uneven
