Abstract: the distribution of our country has large areas of collapsible loess,
well known for its wide coverage, large thickness. Pile in collapsible loess after
flooding technology problem has already been attention by engineering, with the
expansion of national construction, the large thickness of pile foundation in
collapsible loess is increasing. The loess collapsibility of real phenomenon is a
complex changes in the process of physics, chemistry, geology, it affected and
restricted by various factors. Collapsibility well in land area of the pile foundation
design and treatment is of great significance. This paper on the collapsible loess
were summarized, and then puts forward the requirements for pile foundation
design and pile foundation types in the region of choice, finally the design and
processing on the key points are expounded.
