一.教学内容

三年级下册《英语》第五单元How old are you?的Cartoon time和rhyme time. 二.教学目标

1.能理解Cartoon time的意思,体会幽默之处,并进行表达。 2.能听懂、会说、会读单词 want, make, wish,late, again.

3.能听懂、会说、会读句型:What a …!Make a wish. It’s time for… 4.能体会到英语学习的兴趣,敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误。 5.通过复习Story time,学生能熟练掌握并灵活运用。 6.学生在日常生活中能运用数字。 三.教学重点

1.能理解Cartoon time的意思,体会幽默之处,并进行表达。 2.能听懂、会说、会读单词want, make, wish,late, again.

3.能听懂、会说、会读句型:What a …!Make a wish. It’s time for…,Don’t be late again. 四.教学难点

能用正确的语音、语调和重音来表演对话,并能灵活运用。 五.教学准备

多媒体课件,数字卡片,Sam和Bobby等头饰 六.教学过程 Teaching Procedures Step1 . warming up

T: Good morning boys and girls

Let’s play a number game. When I say 7 ,you should say 6. When I say 9 , you should say 8. Ok? Are you ready.(出示第一张PPT,比比反应快。教师及时表扬。)

T: Boys and girls .you are great too. Now it’s time for class. Are you ready for class? Class begins. Today we will learn unit5 cartoon time and rhyme time.

Step 2.cartoon time

1.Review the numbers and phrase

T: Game time. When you see the pictures and phrases, speak out loudly. When you see the bomb, you can do this and say “bomb”. 2.presentation

T: Are you happy now? I am happy because the game is so funny. Now look at Sam, he is happy too? Do you know why? Guess!(出示第五张PPT) Let’s watch the cartoon and check the answer.(观看卡通,整体感知文本信息,寻找答案)

Why Sam is so happy? Do you know how old is he?

Sam has a birthday party. And his friends are coming. Look! Who are they? (出示猴子 小狗 和波比的图片)

出示蛋糕图片,你来夸夸它。出示句子: What a nice cake!教读,指名读。 唱“Happy birthday to Sam” 出示图三,T: what is Sam doing? 教读 make a wish 加动作

师追问:what does Sam want? 学生自由说。

出示图四和句型:I want a robot. I want a toy car. I want… 教读want 指名读

出示图四 图五图片,引导学生观察图片,Sam朋友表情的变化。T: Are they happy? Why?

出示图六, It’s time for the cake.体会Bobby的心情,尝试用焦急的语气读出来。理解情节,并体会幽默之处。Bobby is hungry. But Sam make a lot of wishes.

跟读课文,体会人物心情,注意不同角色的语气

设置情境:如果你的同桌过生日,你怎么帮他庆祝呢?他的生日愿望是什么呢。 Work in pairs.出示句型A : Happy birthday,… B: thank you.A: Make a wish. B: I want … A : this …is for you. B: thank you. Step3 Rhyme time

1. T:Sam is happy. But before the party, somebody is late. Guess: Who is he?

Show and say together: Bobby, you’re late!教读late。 2. What will they say? Show and read: Come in, please, and close the door. Time for the party, but you’re late. Don’t be late for the party again. 3. Who wants to be Sam/ Bobby? (Act)

4. 加上数字就可以变成一首歌谣了。Say the numbers, 并找出韵脚。 5. 改编歌谣(Show the picture)。 6. Enjoy the rhyme,.

7. Watch the flash: The boy is late for class. What are the boys and the girls doing? Do you want to play the game?

教读,跟慢节奏读,跟快节奏读。男生女生分开读。 Step4.Summary 1. Make a summary.

T: So wonderful! What have you learned from this lesson? 2. Assign homework.

(1).听、读Cartoon time,并熟练表演。 (2). Share the story with your parents.
